Good Food Market, Bushey (11/03/18)

If you fancy treating yourself to some yummy food, visit the Good Food Market in Bushey on a Sunday from 10-3pm. We’d heard about it from a friend (who we met through this blog!) and decided to check it out as a Mother’s Day treat.

We started off with a coffee from Seriously Coffee before checking out the other stalls.

Our son decided to pick a gluten free cupcake as his special treat. He said it was “the best cake ever”!

We picked out a custard tart from the Portuguese stand as, ahem, one of our special treats.

Mr New To Watford then had a breakfast bap from Picks Organic Farm. Apparently “a must” after our son’s swimming lesson.

We were lucky with the weather – the sun came out whilst we were there.

We were very tempted by Brocklebys’ pies …

… but decided to plump for some special olive bread from Celtic Bakers (as well as a delicious chocolate brownie) and…

…an olive, feta, tapenade and artichoke pot from the olive stand to have for our lunch at home.

There were loads of tempting food stalls. We’re already planning our return visit!

One of the stall holders mentioned that in the summer the market’s thinking about having deckchairs and a big screen to show Wimbledon.  Sounds good to us!

I chased this market over various locations for a long period, but it was too erratic and I finally gave up. Does anybody have an update.? This review is from 2018.
